Before you approve
- Confirm the tenant pair, matched sites, destination files, and intended recipients.
- Resolve blockers and review any entries intentionally excluded from execution.
- Check that the current preparation reflects your latest mapping and identity decisions.
- Check Account and credits or the batch estimate for sufficient available credits.
- Understand any guest invitations or anyone links included in the approved scope.
What happens next
- Choose the approval action in Review and approve.
- Allow the source safety check to finish. If changes are detected, follow its decision panel.
- Follow Restore access to see the background stage and per-site progress.
- When the run finishes, open Verify results. Read both operation and verification outcomes.
- Investigate incomplete or failed entries before starting another run.
If progress is not immediately visible
Use the batch's existing refresh controls and reopen the same batch if necessary. Background work is recorded by run ID; repeatedly creating new batches can make it harder to distinguish the original run from a retry.
If a run is marked failed or stopped, read the stage and error detail. Changes already completed in Microsoft 365 remain in place; a retry does not mean the previous attempt was rolled back.
Keep new decisions in a new review
If the source, destination, scope, recipients, or policy choices need to change, update and prepare the affected work again. Review the resulting plan rather than assuming an earlier approval covers a different set of changes.
